If you want to retrofit something besides 4′ T8 tubes, then Hawaii Energy is offering a custom rebate amount that is equal to $0/12/kWh saved in Yr 1 of the retrofit. For example, if you wanted to change out your parking lot lights to LED, as well as your High Bay warehouse lighting, after you are done you would receive a check from Hawaii Energy with your custom rebate. For example, if you saved 100,000 kWh in Year 1 as a result of your LED retrofit, you would receive a check from Hawaii Energy for $12,000, in addition to your energy savings from your HECO bill which typically are over 50% with LED compared to traditional lighting.
